Bar-B-Que Bash

Today, we'll be selling some of our soaps (plus other items) at my hometown's 5th Annual Foggy Bottom Bar-B-Que Bash - well, by "we", I really mean my mother as I'll be staying home to look after my grandmother who's still recovering from her injury. I wonder who has the harder job - me or my mom? ;)

Anyways, she'll have several of our soaps there (Lemon Blossom, Victorian Rose, Ocean Breeze, Cool As A Cucumber-Cantaloupe, Lavender Lullaby, Cowboy Up, Apple Jack Peel, Oatmeal & Tupelo Honey, Candy Cane, Pumpkin Pie, Shaving Soap, Spearmint Foot Scrubby, Shades of Grey, and French Hussy), as well as a few other products I've made this week, such as:

Solid Lotion Bars (these are so cool - a solid bar of lotion that you rub between your hands to use)
Monkey Farts Lip Balm (I know, strange name, right? But it smells just like bananas.)
French Hussy Sugar Cube Scrub
Reindeer Poo Ribbon Soap (Another weird name, but this fragrance smells really nice and Christmasy)
Lavender Lullaby & Ocean Breeze Bath Bombs
Pink Champagne Cupcake Bath Bombs
Bath Tea Bags
Peacock Earrings (from feathers Devreaux & Osiris molted this summer)
Bird's Nest Necklaces

I've been so busy this week making new products, labeling and packaging them, and getting everything in order (sometimes I wondered what I'd got myself into lol), but it was a lot of fun experimenting with new recipes. I'll try to post some of those recipes next week (I also have two new soap recipes, too: Hunter's Soap and Bacon & Eggs - made with real egg yolk and bacon scented fragrance oil), but for now, I'm going to enjoy not having anything pressing to do (other than keeping an eye on Grandma). Have a nice weekend!
