Bucket List.



I've seen this floating around on a few other blogs, and thought I'd give it a try. Basically, it's a bucket list and you cross off the things you've done. 


1. Started your own blog
2. Slept under the stars 
3. Played in a band 
4. Visited Hawaii
5. Watched a meteor shower
6. Given more than you can afford to charity
7. Been to Disneyland (No, but I've been to Disney World in Orlando.)
8. Climbed a mountain
9. Held a praying mantis
10. Sang a solo (And I can't sing, so you can imagine how horrible it was lol.)
11. Bungee jumped (No way - I'm a complete chicken when it comes to heights.)
12. Visited Paris
13. Watched a lightning storm 
14. Taught yourself an art from scratch 
15. Adopted a child (Would really love to, and I hope we can in the future.)
16. Had food poisoning
17. Walked to the top of the Statue of Liberty
18. Grown your own vegetables 
19. Seen the Mona Lisa in France
20. Slept on an overnight train
21. Had a pillow fight
22. Hitch hiked
23. Take a sick day when you're not ill
24. Built a snow fort (How could I? This isn't exactly snow country lol.)

26. Gone skinny dipping

28. Ridden in a gondola in Venice
29. Seen a total eclipse
30. Watched a sunrise or sunset
31. Hit a home run

33. Seen Niagara Falls in person
34. Visited the birthplace of your ancestors (Recent ancestors from the past few generations, yes, but not
the more distant ones.)

36. Taught yourself a new language (Not good with languages, but I've always wanted to learn Arabic.)
37. Had enough money to be truly satisfied
38. Seen the Leaning Tower of Pisa in person
39. Gone rock climbing

43. Bought a stranger a meal at a restaurant

99. Been stung by a bee

41 out of 99. Not too bad for only being 28, but a lot of the ones I haven't done are to do with traveling. Growing up, I dreamed of visiting every single country by the time I reached 25 (definitely missed that goal lol). I so wish we could do more traveling, but honestly, it'd be a little hard to go on a long vacation without taking our animals along with us lol. Besides, my other goal was to live on a farm, and I think I've definitely achieved that one.

  2. Well done you! Living on a farm and caring for the animals the way you do probably counts for 20 of the things you can't do because you're looking after all those creatures.

    1. So true lol. Maybe we can hire a farm sitter one day. Then again, we'd probably miss the animals so much we'd come home after a day lol.
